The Bowie & Dick test pack is designed to control the proper functioning of steam autoclave and to test its ability to sterilise porous devices (compresses, fields, gowns, woven or non-woven, ...).

Operation:
The Bowie & Dick test pack Upstar is composed of a ready to use test pack including a test sheet placed in the middle of several cardboard layers. This test sheet is coated with a thermo-reactive chemical pigment changing color according to three parameters: temperature (134°C), time (3 min, 30 s), saturated steam.
